The University of Michigan Board of Regents revealed Tuesday who will serve on the search committee for the Ann Arbor school's next president.

The 13 appointees are primarily members of the UM faculty, student leaders or university administrators. The sole exception is Jeff Blau, a 1990 alumnus and CEO of Related Companies, the New York real estate development company of billionaire Stephen Ross, one of the university's top donors.

The appointees join the eight regents to compose the search committee, co-chaired by Democratic regents Mark Bernstein of Ann Arbor and Mike Behm of Grand Blanc.
