Multnomah County reopened three cooling centers Tuesday as temperatures inched towards 100 degrees in the metro area.

Those climate controlled spaces are open from noon to 9 p.m., and pets are welcome, officials said. The county’s active library branches will also be open until 8 p.m. A list of those branches can be found on the library website .

Cooling center locations include:

Gateway Church, 13300 N.E. San Rafael St., Portland , operated by Cultivate Initiatives.

Congregation Beth Israel, 1972 N.W. Flanders St., Portland , operated by Do Good Multnomah.

Portland Covenant Church, 4046 N.E. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Portland , operated by Multnomah County.
