LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - The Lansing Economic Corporation, alongside Mayor Andy Schor, have announced the recipients of the 2024-2025 Façade Improvement Program.

The program aims to enhance the exterior of Lansing businesses, increase accessibility and improve structural integrity.

In total, $257,173 was awarded to 24 businesses.

“Our Façade Improvement Program helps small businesses update and improve their storefronts, creating even more vibrancy throughout Lansing,” Mayor Schor said in a statement.

“I’ve been here for 28 years. I started by myself, my barbers that have been with me have been with me for over 20 years,” said Michael Ogden, owner of Mo Cuts.

Grants were organized into three categories:
