KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A pair of Kansas City outfielders are headed to Omaha for a rehab assignment this week.

Outfielders Mark Canha and Jac Caglianone will play for the Storm Chasers this week as they work to return from their respective injuries.

Canha spent this past weekend in Wichita playing for Double-A Northwest Arkansas as he rehabs an injury to his left elbow.

Caglianone hasn’t played since July 26, when he injured his groin in the first game of a Royals doubleheader against the Cleveland Guardians.

In 41 games with the Royals, Caglianone has a .147 average, 5 home runs and 10 RBI. The Royals’ top prospect spent 12 games with the Storm Chasers in late May before getting his big-league call-up to Kansas City.
