ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A former bus driver from Rochester has been sentenced to ten years in prison after trying to receive child pornography, according to the United States Attorney's Office.

Prosecutors said 76-year-old Tomas Rosario was a bus driver in Monroe County. In March of 22, Rosario is said to have taken a 13-year-old to school without anyone else on the bus.

Rosario had the victim sit in the front seat, where officials said he then engaged with her in both personal and sexual conversation. Rosario asked the victim if she had ever engaged in sexual conduct with her boyfriend.

This continued as Rosario also drove the victim home from school on the bus that same day, according to prosecutors. Rosario continued the conversation and later subjected the victim to instances of se
