When a new Spider-Man movie needs a Hulk , that's a task for Mark Ruffalo. When a new crime drama from Brad Ingelsby needs someone to play a grizzled FBI agent dealing with trauma and violent felons however, well then that's a Task for Mark Ruffalo. In Mare Of Easttown creator Ingelsby's upcoming seven-episode Sky limited series, Ruffalo plays Tom, an officer heading up a Task Force to investigate a series of violent robberies in the suburbs of Philadelphia. So what's the rub, then? Well, it turns out the crook he's chasing, the unfortunately named Robbie (Tom Pelphry), is actually just an in-too-deep family man who Tom has more than a little in common with.
