Another death has occurred at Lake Pueblo State Park, this time involving a male in his late teens who may have drowned after going underwater without a life jacket on.

According to Colorado Parks and Wildlife, their team responded to a possible drowning at about noon on Tuesday, August 12. The rescue subject was found beneath the surface of the water after a sonar grid search was conducted, with the teen found in water that was about 23 feet deep. He was located about an hour after the initial report about the situation was received.

The teen was located approximately 65 yards from the shore on the eastern side of the lake near a dam. A press release on the matter didn't specify why the man was out on the water or what activity he may have been partaking in at the time. The temperature
