MANCHESTER, N.H. —
After another hot summer day, stargazers across New Hampshire will be treated to one of the biggest meteor showers of the year.
The Perseid meteor shower is expected to peak late Tuesday night and Wednesday night.
At its peak, over 20 meteors per hour could be visible. One limiting factor will be the proximity to the Full Sturgeon Moon. That extra moonlight could potentially dim about 75% of meteors.

Still, the weather should provide a great opportunity to see this year's meteor shower. Expect clear skies with temperatures in the 60s and 70s Tuesday night.
