Rain and a few embedded thunderstorms will stick around for Wednesday, before drier and warmer conditions come starting to end the week.

Widespread rain is present across the Tennessee Valley this afternoon, and we can expect this to last into the evening. We still start to trend drier during the overnight hours, lows tonight will sit in the mid 70s.

Wednesday brings more widespread rain with a possibility to see some stronger storms. No severe weather risk in place for tomorrow, but heavy rainfall and frequent lightning cam be expected.

Heading into late week, rain chances will start to decrease and temperatures will start to increase back into the 90s! With the oppressive humidity, we could feel like the triple digits in some places in north Alabama starting Friday.
