A wing walker, a surprise guest, and a bigger-than-ever hangar party are all highlights for this year's Chilliwack Flight Fest.

Canada’s longest-running free airshow returns on Sunday, Aug. 17, with the fundraiser Hangar Party and Twilight Show set for the night before at the Chilliwack Airport.

"This year’s show promises to be bigger and better than ever, kicking off with a special surprise guest at 12:30 p.m.," said organizers.

Flight Fest will be starting half an hour earlier than previous years to accommodate the surprise aerial performance on Aug. 17.

That will be followed by several other featured performers, including husband-and-wife wing-walking team, Samantha Tryggvason (a.k.a. Wingwalker Sam) and pilot Mike Tryggvason.
