LOS ANGELES — Stephanie Talbot has known Sandy Brondello for close to 10 years, though she knew of the Liberty coach long before she was drafted by the Mercury in 2014.

Mention the Liberty coach and fellow Aussie’s name and it’ll bring a smile to Talbot’s face.

Brondello has had a huge impact on her career as the two have grown trust in one another over the years.

Talbot didn’t make her WNBA debut with the Mercury until 2017 — the same year Brondello also took the head coaching job for the Australia National Team.
