East Peoria taxpayers paid the 33rd largest sum in sales taxes per municipality in June, according to Illinois tax records .

In total, residents paid approximately $2.4 million in sales taxes during that month.

East Peoria ranked 20th in the Prairie State the month before, with just over $2.9 million spent in sales taxes.

The largest share of sales taxes paid by East Peoria residents in June came from the Non-Home Rule Sales Tax.
