CINCINNATI (WXIX) - The family of a woman killed in Middletown is speaking out about their concerns after the suspect was indicted on a lesser charge.
Middletown Police said Alexis Curtis died in June after allegedly being shot in the head by her husband, Tyrone Crawford.
As the case makes its way through the Butler County court system, Alexis’s family said they want justice for their loved one who died at the hands of a monster.
“Alexis was a fun, wild person, sweetheart,” Robin Curtis, Alexis’ sister, said. “She would cry about everything. Emotional? Yes, she’s very emotional. That was Alexis. She liked to dance and sing..”
The shooting occurred in June at an apartment complex in the 3500 block of Roosevelt Boulevard.
“It is still a nightmare and every day,” sister Tawana Myers said
