A man's body was found in New Hampshire's Lake Winnipesaukee on Tuesday morning, amid a search for a missing swimmer, police said.

The death is suspected to be an accidental drowning, according to New Hampshire State Police.

Forrest Wells, a 76-year-old from Virginia, had been reported missing near Moultonborough's Long Island on Monday at 8:19 p.m., prompting a search through the night, according to police. A body, believed to be Wells', was found near the shore at about 7:23 a.m.
