COCOA BEACH, Fla. ( WWSB ) - The family of Giovanni Pelletier, the 18-year-old who disappeared during a family vacation in Englewood, said Tuesday they want answers.

“The fight is not over. We are committed to seeking justice and the truth about what happened to him,” said Morgan Hull, Giovanni’s cousin, at a news conference at the Cocoa Beach Pier in Brevard County.

The family said Giovanni was on vacation in Englewood when he got into a car with other cousins to visit family in Brevard County when it is believed he began acting erratically.

Pelletier was last seen around 1:30 a.m. Aug. 1, walking away from the vehicle stopped on northbound I-75 near State Road 70.
