WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A 26-year-old Wichita man was seriously injured Tuesday afternoon in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 235, just south of Zoo Boulevard.

The Kansas Highway Patrol said the crash happened around 1:24 p.m. as the rider was heading south. He lost control, crossed the median, and came to rest on the right side of the northbound lanes.

Troopers said the rider was wearing a helmet and was taken to the hospital with suspected serious injuries.
