Jonathan Larson, the who perhaps had a sense that time was not on his side, began writing in the 1980s and tragically died in 1996 at the age of 35.
Larson is best known for his Tony Award-winning and Pulitzer Prize-winning play “Rent.” He also wrote book lyrics and music for his one-man play, “Tick, Tick …Boom!” first produced in 1990.
