The Greenwood Eagles are proud to be "Made In Greenwood." It's their motto, after all.

"We live in an era of the transfer portal, and that's trickled down to the high school level," said head coach Chris Liner. "We have zero transfers. We're proud that we're from Greenwood. All our guys are from Greenwood, and most of my coaching staff is from Greenwood. We're going to try to do it our way, that's our way."

After winning nine games and reaching the third round of the 5A-Division 2 playoffs a year ago, the Eagles return 17 starters, including quarterback Triston Lewis, who committed to South Carolina earlier this year as a defensive back.
