Reba McEntire has paid tribute to her late stepson, Brandon Blackstock.
The country-music icon penned a heartfelt post commemorating his life, sharing it with her Instagram followers on 12 August.
"Last week, my stepson/oldest son Brandon Blackstock went home to be with God. His struggle is over and he is in eternal peace in God's presence," Reba, 70, wrote in a caption accompanying a carousel of photographs of the two of them in happy times.
"There is no one else like him, and I'm thankful for the time we had together."
Reba was married to Brandon's father, film producer Narvel Blackstock, from 1989 until 2015, and the pair had a son together - Brandon's half-brother, Shelby Blackstock, 35.
Brandon passed away from skin cancer last week, aged 48. He had previously been married to singer Kelly Clarkson, 43, with whom he shared daughter, River Rose, 11, and son Remington, 9.
Reba concluded her reflection with thoughts of talent manager Brandon's "legacy".
"His legacy and laughter will be carried on through his family," she wrote. "Rest in peace cowboy. Happy trails to you til we meet again."
