HENDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (WEHT) - Henderson County Officials passed a new vehicle ordinance, making it legal for certain UTV's and other vehicles to be driven on roads in the county.
The ordinance was adopted after the Kentucky General Assembly said it was allowed to do so if the municipality wanted to.
One resident Anthony O'Neal says, "I'm for it, it'll help a lot of people out around here."
Henderson County residents are reacting after the fiscal court passes an ordinance, allowing types of utility terrain vehicles to be street legal, but Sheriff Chip Stauffer says it's the same restrictions as a normal motor vehicle, including consequences behind the wheel.
