Even though the clock was running down on Erie Gives 2025, one local group is urging the community to help them as they help others dealing with cancer.

The Erie Cancer Wellness Center began the day with a goal of $75,000. The organization offers support services, free of charge, for anyone dealing with cancer.

That includes patients, their families, caregivers and those dealing with the loss of a loved one.

"It's a big family and we all need each other to get through whatever our grief may be…and it's really important that the community known this place is here for them. Whatever their need is, we're here for them," said Rhonda Reynolds, who lost her daughter to cancer.
