Toyota Alabama is building a new child care center near its manufacturing plant in Huntsville, with plans to open in fall 2026.

Marc Perry, president of Toyota Alabama, said the initiative aims to support employees who are also working parents, easing the burden of child care and offering a convenient solution close to the workplace.

"So I think it should take some of that pressure off of, you know, working parents that are just trying to figure out how to take care of their child," Perry. "We have it so close we can offer that as a part of Toyota."

Perry, a father himself, said access to reliable child care was a challenge when his own children were younger — especially while working shifts at a manufacturing facility.
