A new farm-based nursery has gained a 'good' rating in its first ever Ofsted report. Eden House Day Nursery in Bassingbourn, a Cambridgeshire village near Royston in Hertfordshire , was described as "happy and welcoming" in a report published on Monday (August 11).
The nursery, located off the A505 at Low Farm, registered with Ofsted in January this year. It offers children opportunities to explore farm land and learn to appreciate the natural world .
The report praised this element, stating that pupils "enjoy the outdoor space" and that older children have fun "making potions in the mud kitchen, going on a bear hunt with the staff and running their bikes up and down a little hill."
