A Trump biographer revealed on Tuesday that there is someone behind the scenes pulling the strings of the president's administration.

Journalist Michael Wolff, who wrote "Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House," discussed it on the premiere of "Inside Trump’s Head," a twice-weekly podcast from The Daily Beast. Wolff noted that while Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, has been active in the administration despite his physical absence.

"Jared is still there," Wolff said. "Jared can, and that's what everyone in the White House will tell you, can at any moment, Bigfoot anybody."

"It's the hidden hand of Jared Kushner," he added.

For instance, Wolff noted that Susie Wiles, Trump's chief of staff, was picked by Kushner.

The Trump administration also has close ties with countries where Kushner is doing business. For example, Kushner secured a $2 billion investment from Saudi Arabia after the first Trump administration. Trump also secured a lucrative real estate deal in the country after he won the 2024 election.

Jared's father, Charles, is also Trump's ambassador to France. Charles Kushner was convicted of 18 crimes in 2005, including tax evasion, federal witness tampering, and making false claims to the Federal Election Commission

Wolff added that Jared Kushner's influence in the White House appears to be substantial.
