CLARKSTON, MI - Rock meets elegance at Rod Stewart’s “One Last Time” tour concert which came to Pine Knob in Clarkston, Michigan on a stormy Tuesday, August 12 evening.

With heavy rain, lighting and thunder rumbling closer and closer to the amphitheater, Rock and Roll Hall of Famers , Cheap Trick, kicked off their set a half hour early at 7:00 p.m.

Half the crowd missed “Dream Police,” “The Flame,” “I Want You to Want Me” and “Surrender” in what ended up being a 45-minute shortened, yet solid as always set from the veteran rockers.

It never gets old hearing Robin Zander belt out their hits and watching Rick Nielsen play one of his many custom-made guitars.

Crews worked in fast-motion to get the stage ready for Stewart’s grand entrance as the red curtain opened just 15 minutes later
