The Rangers had four hits on the night. That’s not nifty at all. None of the hits came with runners in scoring position, of which there were nine opportunities wasted. Texas scored both of their early runs via well-placed outs to take a lead but, surprise surprise, that lead was never built upon with outs pouring in any time a runner reached base.
