The Detroit Tigers entered the 2025 season with either baseball's top farm system, or pretty close to it , depending on which outlet fans followed.

MLB Pipeline had the Tigers at the top of the heap in March , but they've been taken down a few pegs in the site's updated rankings, posted Tuesday night , slotting in at No. 6.

But, that doesn't necessarily mean the system is backsliding.

The Tigers' top farmhand entering the season, righthanded pitcher Jackson Jobe, exhausted his prospect eligibility, earning a spot in Detroit's Opening Day rotation before he was lost for the season to elbow surgery .
