COLUMBIA, S.C. — A Richland County man previously accused of kidnapping and assault is once again behind bars. 24-year-old Timothy Ulness, is now facing charges of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.

Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott said the man poses a serious threat to the community.

“He's definitely a threat to our community and I want everybody to look at his picture, know who he is and understand that he is a threat and hopefully he will not get out,” Lott said.

Ulness appeared in court Tuesday after being re-arrested on the new charge. He was previously released on bond after allegedly kidnapping and assaulting a Columbia woman. His new bond has been set at $350,000.
