Bristol Airport's workforce has risen to more than 5,500 as the South West transport hub experiences its "busiest summer ever".
Hundreds of new staff have been employed at the site, the airport said, in roles from retail to operations.
It comes amid growing demand for services during the summer season, with travellers jetting off to beach destinations including Palma, Alicante and Faro, and for city breaks to Dublin, Amsterdam and Edinburgh.
New routes from Bristol to Zurich, with Edelweiss, and Istanbul with low-cost airline Pegasus , are also helping to drive demand.
