With the government’s controversial Personal Independence Payments changes on pause, experts are looking at who has the most to lose from DWP cuts across the country. A new study used local authority data to find the areas that would be hardest hit by any disability benefit cuts.
Blackpool came out on top according to the latest State of Mobility Issues report by mobility furniture experts Opera Beds . The research claimed nearly one in five working age adults in this area relies on health-related benefits.
