The Steelers continue to work out linebackers this week.
Per a report from KPRC2’s Aaron Wilson, the Steelers worked out linebacker Max Tooley Tuesday, a day after the team hosted two for tryouts and another for a visit on Monday.
Tooley went undrafted in 2024, signing with the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent. He spent six years at BYU, logging 92 total tackles, five tackles for loss, one sack, and one interception in his final season as with the Cougars.
At the Big 12 Pro Day, the 6’2, 225-pound linebacker reportedly ran a 4.58-second 40-yard dash with a 10’2” broad jump.
In the NFL, Tooley has yet to appear in the regular season, most recently spending time on the Minnesota Vikings’ practice squad.
