Edgewood football head coach Scott Fischer always had great seats for Indiana University men's basketball games when he was growing up.

That allowed him to keep a close eye on head coach Bobby Knight and how he operated.

"To watch the number of times he took his best player on the team," Fischer said, "and sat him on the bench for extended periods of time because they were not playing the way they were supposed to be playing.

"When you've got quality players that can replace that guy and you can still win and be competitive in the game, that changes the culture real fast. That's what accountability is."
