FAIRMONT — The Marion County Board of Education reviewed the ABCs of being an effective board member on Monday.

The Board of Education called a special session to do its annual trainings on Local School Improvement Councils as well as legal and ethical boundaries for board service along with a review of West Virginia state code and Robert’s Rules of Order. The board does these trainings as a refresher about the mechanics of board service.
