LONDON -- Russian President Vladimir Putin is showing "no sign" that he intends to end Moscow's war on Ukraine, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Wednesday as preparations for Friday's U.S.-Russia summit in Alaska continue.

"We must learn from the experience of Ukraine, our partners, to prevent deception by Russia," Zelenskyy said in a statement posted to social media.

"There is no sign now that the Russians are preparing to end the war," he added. "Our coordinated efforts and joint steps -- of Ukraine, the United States, Europe, all countries that want peace -- can definitely force Russia to make peace."
