Some supporters of President Donald Trump are proposing that the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. be named after him.

On Tuesday night, August 12, Trump shared a photo of himself in the venue's presidential box; that followed an earlier post saluting the "GREAT Nominees for the TRUMP/KENNEDY CENTER, whoops, I mean, KENNEDY CENTER, AWARDS."

Users of X, formerly Twitter, were quick to react to Trump's Kennedy Center posts.

X user Dion Harper posted, "I came across a post that Donald Trump posted on Truth Social; It started with the sentence 'Great nominees for the TRUMP/KENNEDY CENTRE, whoops, I mean, KENNEDY CENTRE, AWARDS'.
