CLARENDON HILLS, Ill. (WLS) -- Clarendon Hills will be rallying together to cheer on their very own in Game 1 of the Little League World Series Wednesday.

The Clarendon Hills team advanced to the Little League World Series last week after defeating an Ohio team becoming the Great Lakes Regional Champions.

They are now representing the Great Lakes Region in Williamsport, Pennsylvania for the Little League World Series taking on a Las Vegas team representing the Mountain Region.

But to cheer on the team, Clarendon Hills is hosting a village watch party to support these 'hometown heroes' starting at 1 p.m. at the intersection of Prospect and Park in downtown Clarendon Hills.
