Brits can get free NHS prescriptions if they have certain health conditions. Nobody wants to find themselves needing the help, but the extra support could make a difference.
NHS prescriptions currently cost £9.90 per item. Yet for some individuals, this cost can be waived .
It all depends on the medical condition you might have. The health service states that only 10 conditions qualify for this exemption, and patients must obtain a medical exemption certificate to prove their eligibility for free prescriptions.
