The fellas from Junkyard returned to social media on Tuesday for the first time since their beloved frontman, David Roach, died following a battle with cancer.

And their message was heartwarming.

“We came together to raise a glass for our fallen brother,” a post on the band’s Instagram stories, featuring Jimmy James, Patrick Muzingo, Todd Muscat and Tim Mosher sitting at a table and having some brews read. “Beers went down hard and we laid out some of his last wishes.

“Stay tuned.”

Roach died back on Aug. 4. He was 59.

His death came just two weeks after he married his then fiancée, Jennifer, in a ceremony that his Junkyard bandmates attended. And it comes several weeks after he revealed that he was fighting the cancer.
