An approaching cold front could lead to a couple of rounds of spotty showers on Wednesday. The first of which will arrive early in the day, before tapering off by lunchtime. We will then see a midday break in the action with temperatures jumping into the low 80s.

Showers and storms will become possible once again this afternoon and evening. Not everyone will see a storm move overhead, but the locations that do could be in store for a brief period of heavy rain and gusty winds. Any leftover showers will taper off shortly after sunset, and skies will remain partly cloudy overnight.

Patchy fog could lead to reduced visibility for the Thursday morning commute, but skies will clear out by midday, and Thursday afternoon will be much more pleasant. High temperatures will be in the low 80s again
