Some patchy fog will likely be around to start today, thanks to high pressure and lingering moisture in the air. Any fog that forms will lift shortly after sunrise, and sunshine will be around the rest of today. Today will probably be this week's nicest. After today, temperatures and humidity levels rise.
Storms in South Dakota late tonight will drift into northwest Iowa as some widely scattered showers tomorrow morning. Some residual clouds will blow over central Iowa initially, then the rest of Thursday should be us sunshine once again.
Friday looks similar. A system passing to our north could kick off some isolated showers and storms, but skies will be otherwise mostly sunny. T
