LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Days before Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) students went back to class, investigators determined a fire at a south Louisville high school was intentionally started.
The classrooms for the health science program at Marion C. Moore School, also known as Moore High School, is on a rebound thanks to a large donation from a nonprofit.
SOS International, a nonprofit based in Louisville, is giving $10,000 to the school to help replace the equipment needed for students to continue their education.
JCPS officials are still calculating the total in losses, but said the damage could cost up to six figures.
