ESPN has announced a major change to broadcasting plans for the 2025 NFL season.

The network will show 25 regular-season games this year.

Some weeks they will have more than one game on at a given time.

And ESPN has taken the decision to bolster both television crews ready for action.

Former Fox NFL Sunday star Peter Schrager will be on the sidelines in one of the teams.

Schrager was a regular on Fox NFL Kickoff at 11 am ET on Sundays.

He was also a host of Good Morning Football on NFL Network before switching to ESPN.

And Schrager was confirmed as a sideline reporter for five games.

He will work with the broadcast team of Chris Fowler, Dan Orlovsky and Louis Riddick.

Katie George will work the other sideline with Schrager as part of that crew.
