FLOWER MOUND—The Allen volleyball team opened their season against a game Flower Mound squad at the Jaguar Activity Tuesday evening and wasted no time picking up their first win of the season, 3-1.

A handful of athletes made notable impacts for both teams, but Allen (1-0) used their depth and power to gain the edge both early and down the stretch. Offensively, they had 47 assists on 54 kills.
