Two women arrested at nail salon previously fined £80K for hiring illegal workers

A nail salon in Bristol was temporarily shut down and given a court order following a visit by the Home Office’s Immigration Enforcement team. Officers from the Wales and West of England Enforcement team attended Pretty Nails in Yate on Thursday, August 7, acting on intelligence of illegal working.

Enquiries revealed two Vietnamese women with no Right to Work in the UK were operating inside the premises. They were arrested at the scene alongside the business owner on suspicion of knowingly employing illegal workers.
