FORT STEWART, Ga. — The sergeant accused of injuring five soldiers in a shooting in Fort Stewart, Georgia, is facing multiple charges, including domestic violence.
On Wednesday, Aug. 6, 28-year-old Sgt. Quornelius Radford , an automated logistical specialist with the Army, shot and wounded five soldiers who were assigned to the 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team. The Army Office of Special Trial Counsel (OSTC) said Sgt. Radford also shot at a sixth soldier in the same brigade.
Army OSTC said Sgt. Radford has no deployments and has been in the Army since January 2018.
Three of the soldiers injured in the shooting were released from the hospital. The other two were still hospitalized as of Thursday, Aug. 7. According to Army OSTC, one of the victims was the intimate partner of Sgt. Radfor
