The high pressure over New England is pushing off the coast this afternoon, helping to keep temperatures below average once again, along with an area of low pressure off the Carolinas, giving way to a breezy day and cloudy skies and highs in the lower 80s.

There is a slight chance for a shower this afternoon, but most of us seeing just seeing overcast skies throughout the day. Heading into the evening, skies start to clear a bit, and temperatures drop back into the mid 70s.

The coastal low pulls away from the region on Saturday, with only slight chances of some light rain, mainly in the morning. With fewer clouds and a little more sunshine, temperatures should warm into the lower 80s. On Sunday, warm and dry with lower 80s at the coast and middle 80s inland.
