A CUTTING-edge hydrogen-powered eco tank which fires deadly shells while leaving only water in its trail is officially being developed.
The silent stealth tank dubbed the K3 is in production at South Korean firm Hyundai Rotem - and will even include AI-enhanced weapons systems.
The groundbreaking new war machine will aim to reduce the need for diesel engines - which produce bigger heat and acoustic signatures.
The fact that it is powered by hydrogen will reduce the vehicle's detectability from surveillance systems .
And it will also also improve the menacing tank's mobility.
The tank is being built in coordination with the Agency for Defense Development (ADD) and the Defense Agency for Technology and Quality.
Hyundai Rotem said: “The next-generation main battle tank surpasses
