A beloved Massachusetts -based ice cream company is recalling a flavor.
The Food and Drug Administration published a recall announcement saying that Friendly's, an ice cream company headquartered in Wilbraham, Massachusetts , will be recalling a small amount of their Cookies and Cream flavor due to a mislabeling mishap.
"The recalled product was mistakenly packaged in Friendly’s Vanilla Bean ice cream cartons with a Cookies & Cream lid," the recall said. "People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to soy and/or wheat run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products."
