An off-licence where a security guard was stabbed has been allowed to stay open.
Emergency services were scrambled to Allison Street, Moss Side , at 10.20pm on Sunday (August 10) after a 51-year-old working for Richie & Nickie’s Liquor Store was ‘stabbed in the lower abdomen’, police said during a Manchester council licensing hearing on Wednesday (August 13).
His injuries were not life-threatening, it was said. A 54-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault and subsequently released on bail.
