Teamwork and communication between emergency responders during a rash of serious wildfires in and around Princeton were praised by both Princeton Mayor Spencer Coyne and his father Bob Coyne, director of the board with the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen, during the RDOS board’s regular meeting last Thursday.
The Town of Princeton was so appreciative of the coordinated efforts to bring the wildfires under control and protect residents that it held a community celebration two weeks ago to thank emergency responders, emergency services personnel, and leadership.
